Top 5 Moments from The Walking Dead S8E12 "The Key"

Warning: this blog contains TV and comic spoilers!

Okay, so the walker-blood battle at Hilltop is next episode. We hope.

Despite the fact that "The Key" was basically an episode about a detour/disruption on The Saviors' journey to Hilltop, the show may have set some major things in motion for the future.

From curious visitors to flaming Lucille, this episode had a lot of high points - here are our picks for the top five!

05. Daryl Apologizes to Rick

Rick had pretty much defeated Negan and The Saviors near the mid-season finale, but an overzealous Daryl inadvertently let them escape. Seeing the two old friends clear the air was a cool moment. It showed the writers still value the legendary bond Rick and Daryl have, which has been going strong for eight seasons. All those memories, man.

04. A Seed is Planted at Hilltop

What better place than the farming community, right? An interesting visitor offered Maggie a deal. After considering it, she accepted - and she ended up getting food and valuable information that could help her develop the community. Then the visitor left, promising a return at some point. There's a chance the showrunners just set up something huge from the comics.

03. Negan's Top Associates Move On

Simon and Dwight both betrayed Negan, though neither knows of the other's transgression. After a heart-to-heart about their disagreements regarding Negan's leadership, and after reasoning he was as good as dead, the two rallied their troops and moved on. This means Simon's plan of ending their rivals is in full-effect. But will Dwight really attack Hilltop? He switched sides once, and his main beef was with Negan himself - so it's a possibility.

02. Rick vs. Negan 2

This was better than their first battle at Alexandria. After running Negan's car off the road and chasing him into a run-down building, Rick revived his handy hatchet and Negan ended up tumbling through the darkness. Negan found out about The Scavengers being killed, and even tried to offer Rick a chance to go back to how things were. Sort of. But the battle culminated as they fought each other (and walkers) using an ignited Lucille. It looked like Negan was going to escape AGAIN, until...

01. Jadis Takes Negan for a Drive

In the final scene, we saw a groggy Negan regain consciousness in a car only to find out he was being held at gunpoint by the driver - Jadis! Does she believe Negan himself ordered the deaths of all her people? Even if he tells her the truth, will she buy it? Did Rick give Negan over as some kind of peace offering? If not, how did she capture him? And perhaps most important of all, why wasn't she in a garbage truck? It would've just been more fitting.

5 Ways All Out War Could've Been Better

Warning - this blog contains spoilers! As part of our celebration of the end of the war arc, we decided to look back and discuss how things could've been improved. If you've followed our coverage of season 8, you know we loved it! But even so, it doesn't mean things couldn't have been done differently. Here are 5 ways we think All Out War could've been better. 5. The Pacing Could've Been Sped Up Significantly Going by Maggie's lack of a baby bump, we can conclude the war took place over a much shorter period than many fans thought. From the beginning of season 7 with Abraham and Glenn meeting Lucille to the finale of season 8 with Negan being imprisoned, only a month or two could've passed at most . That's a pretty radical pacing change for a show that used to move things along quickly. Squeezing 32 episodes into such a short span helped us meet a lot of new faces and explore the bigger world the show is trying to focus on, but it also...

10 Opponents Daniel Bryan Could Face in his WWE Return

HE'S BACK! After more than two years off the active roster, Daniel Bryan has been cleared for an in-ring return. No official date for a return match has been given and no opponent has been named, but that doesn't mean we can't speculate. We hope Bryan has plenty of matches coming up in his new run - ah, that feels good to say. Here are ten wrestlers we'd like to see him face! 10. Baron Corbin Bryan's time in a Smackdown managerial role saw him have words with Corbin on multiple occasions. It'd make for a good backstory if they fought, and it'd be a fresh matchup. 09. Kevin Owens and/or Sami Zayn We put these two together because they've been a collective thorn in Bryan's side for months. Maybe he and Shane could team together and take on the duo of "Kami" in a tag match? 08. Roman Reigns These two had a great match years ago on the road to WrestleMania, and it was Reigns who came out on top. We've got to think Brya...

Uber Self-Driving Car Kills Pedestrian

On the night of March 18, a self-driving vehicle struck a pedestrian in Tempe, Arizona. The woman was attempting to cross the street when the crash occurred, and passed away after being transported to a local medical facility. Though a driver using Tesla's advanced auto-pilot feature passed away in a 2016 crash , this marks the first known pedestrian fatality involving a self-driving vehicle. As a result, Arizona governor Doug Ducey has suspended tests of autonomous cars on the state's roads until further notice. Emails obtained after the incident suggest the governor was allowing Uber to test their vehicles in the state without informing the public. Uber executive Lior Ron has stepped down amid the controversy. Even business partners like Nvidia are distancing themselves from Uber because of the accident. The company is facing flack for reportedly removing several sensors from their self-driving vehicles prior to testing. Though Uber hasn't released an off...
